Rocky Mountain Revival

Rocky Mountain Revival is an Audio Art Journal. What does that mean? We are a haven for readers, writers, singers, storytellers, audio artists, listeners and dreamers; an oasis for story-thirsty wanderers; an island of freedom in an ocean of thought tyranny surrounded by sharks that feed on the imagination. And no, we are not exaggerating. We support all arts, though we have a focus on literature and music.

"Yume" written by Levi Andrew Noe is a speculative fiction thriller of revenge, destiny and the reality of one man's dream. Set in a near-future Tokyo, "Yume" will keep you on the edge of your seat and may or may not leave you with a hankering for green tea ice cream.

Born in Denver, realized in Tokyo, Shibuya Terminal is the obsessive outpouring of music from Pierce Murphy. With a voice steeped in pounk and indie rock but educated by the jazz tradition, he creates a passionate sound with sharp lyrics and intricate arrangements.

Cadence is a surreal, dreamy, in betweeny kind of short story by Levi Andrew Noe. It dives deep into the blurry lines between the conscious and unconscious, dreaming and lucidity and one woman's struggle for freedom. Salads and Sunbeams will give you something to groove to. They have a style that will remind you that rock and roll is not dead, it just traveled into other dimensions to find itself again.

Charlie's Gift is a short story about unexpected lessons learned. Author P.S. Cross is the illustrator of children's book One Day as a Raven. The-Band-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is really just a side project of a side project of other bands, or rather, it's just two friends who make music creating a song together. They are Daniel Grant and Dwight Vernon Forcey, with special guest appearances from R2D2 of Star Wars and Meat Loaf.
